The department

Our Greek practice in Athens is one of the premier law firms in Athens for energy, infrastructure, real estate & hospitality transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, project development and project finance, and is at the forefront of large and innovative deals, working with a range of clients from some of the world’s leading energy, infrastructure and real estate companies, banks and key Greek market players. We are also well-known for our excellent working environment. Our lawyers have deep industry knowledge and strong negotiation skills and undertake significant client-facing roles in high value, time-sensitive transactions.

Role overview

You will be actively involved in complex multi-party contractual drafting and negotiation for a range of issues relating to some of the largest and most ground-breaking projects in Greece.

Key activities/responsibilities
  • Liaise with the client throughout the transaction;
  • Draft and negotiate Greek-law agreements (in English and Greek);
  • Correspond with all parties involved in a case, including clients, counterparties, lenders, foreign counsel, technical and other experts;
  • Respond to queries and comments raised by clients and funders.
Skills and experience – essential
  • 3-5 years of PQE;
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in corporate and employment law transactions;
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Law degree from a Greek university.
